1) Holy crap that was intense, now I need to watch some fluff for a while! 🙀
2) Why don't they keep any spacesuits in the airlock?!? Isn't that where you would normally use them???? 😯

Un par de cositas de estos días, que no había tenido tiempo de comentar porque la actualidad manda, y todo eso.
He acabado la quinta temporada de For all mankind. No me preguntéis por qué, pero yo pensaba que era la última. Cuando mi mujer me dijo que aún quedaba una sexta casi me da un parraque. ¿Que por qué? Porque me ha gustado UN MONTÓN, y no quiero esperar un año o año y pico hasta la siguiente, por eso.
La otra cosa es que por fin terminé de leer el manga Oshi no Ko. Empecé viendo el anime, la primera y parte de la segunda temporada. Ya solo con el primer capítulo de la primera (que es más largo de lo habitual, no os asustéis) flipé en colorinchis. No hago espóilers, pero si no conocéis el argumento es brutal. Y como uno no destaca por su paciencia, pues me metí con el manga. Y oye, muy bien. Tiene algún altibajo en la trama, lo que es normal, pero un final bastante chulo.
Muy recomendables las dos cosas, para quien le pueda interesar.

CW: For All Mankind , S1 finale question
I have some questions about the finale.
So Apollo 24 was completely out of fuel, and damaged. Ed salvaged all the fuel left on the moon just to go help land it.
So ... how was even possible for Ed to fly back to Earth in that? I guess they could fix the antenna, but where did they get more fuel? And what other damage was there?
(Are they already manufacturing fuel from moon ice?)

Just watched the finale of #StarCity (the #ForAllMankind spin-off) and damn, if it isn't the best piece of television this year, I don't know what is.
Literally gave me goosebumps.

imagine FAM where the only avenue for you the viewer to feel good is to reflect on how youre a free american and not one of those miserable foreigners oppressed by a regime thats probably their own fault in the first place.
this was some of the most vile, xenophobic propaganda campaigns toadying up to robber baron elites that ive seen. i kept hoping it would execute a clever turn but no. its just a hash of suffering and trauma trying to tell you youve got it better.

if youre a fan of For All Mankind and wondering if you might enjoy Star City, just imagine FAM with every trace of joy and wonder stripped out of it.
imagine a season of FAM where no character ever smiles at another character unless they are gloating or hiding a shameful secret.

Bioluminescence is cool but... did Kelly Baldwin (unwittingly) cryo-preserve herself in liquid methane/ethane?
I mean, #ForAllMankind already crossed into magitech a long time ago, I'll be disappointed as fuck but not surprised if they resurrect her. (And I'll tell people it was canceled after season 3.)

Watching the most recent season of For All Mankind.
Another friend finds the show boring, and I can see that. There isn’t a lot of action, it’s a slow drama. But it’s just right for me.
The tension is mostly political, but I’m here for it.
