Network operator #Ausgrid has installed what it says is the country’s first pole-mounted #electricvehicle charger for “long dwell” charging sessions in the city of Newcastle. It could be the first of 30,000 such chargers spread across its network. #ev #electricvehicles #australia

#AusGrid is planning to install 30,000 pole mounted EV chargers around Australia by 2029. Charging currently costs $0.50 per KW/h flat rate.
No mention of facilities to charge e-bikes/cargo bikes/scooters.
