So Cloudflare (via #4Chan) are coming after us now.
The war on #freedomSoftware and #bitcoin started years ago but they now have amassed enough data to open hunting season.
It seems our #AudacityFork efforts are undermining their plan to hunt the #artists.
We need our artists.
If your #bank goes through Cf, switch. If your local council website does, drop an anonymous message that you will spread flyers outing Cf, framing council as an accomplice.

If a legitimate fork of Audacity appears we have some design work almost ready to go based on derivatives of work fans have suggested over the years and that have been rather popular. We never submitted it to #Audacity as they seemed to enjoy seeing people try and collected their efforts as a sort of trophy.

I saw the grumblings about #audacity today and thought "well we have some left over graphics which really should be used before they go stale" so I've remixed two works into this audacious graphic which can be claimed by whomever starts the #audacityfork.

And just like that, #Audacity gets removed from hundreds, possibly thousands of computers.
We are glad that we neglected to bother even trying to help the dev team when we had a chance. We saw behaviours that were suspicious. Persistant resistance to #UX improvements being one of them.
So #goodbyeAudacity, if we need you we'll use the ancient PC with no internet access.
Not even worth fiddling w the #firewall.
