  1. @Androidauth

Version number 68469120 still works. People can enter that one in #Aurorastore and hopefully it is still cached.

If your camera still works, install an app like github.com/ghmxr/apkextractor and extract the #APK, share with others!

    Otherwise checkout #APKPure or #APKMirror

    Look for version 9.9.106.77...

  2. Uma alternativa genérica (não só de open source) à Play Store?

É para um telemóvel velho com Android 6 (a Play Store deixou de funcionar nestes telefones este mesmo mês).

Agora mesmo está com ApkPure, mas está cheio de publicidade...

    Obrigado!

  3. While the site apkpure.com/.net has been down, I downloaded a needed Android app installation file from Aptoide. The apk was in fact to install their app store. Aptoide renames their own apk to whatever the app you were searching for is. Eg: outlook.apk. This sneaky approach makes me not trust them. Seems like an own goal to me.

Anyway apkpure.net is back online, although .com is still offline.

  5. @Zander @techlore it is okay. Sometimes I can't find certain apps I want. #Apkpure is one of the few options after #aurora and #apkmirror . Have been using it since a few years as a second/third pick. Haven't had any issues with the apps yet. The only issue is it being a little ad-heavy.
(PS: Apologies for replying two-months late. Was not logging in for some time. Hope the answer is still useful.)

  6. #Security #Nerds and #Experts of #Mastodon, I have a #Question for you.

I am attempting to de-#Google my digital life (as much as is possible at the moment). I got myself an #Android #MobilePhone that does not have Google services installed on it, and I am using #FDroid, #AuroraStore, #APKPure, etc. to get the apps, and using the #AppBrain #AdDetector and #DuckDuckGo's #App #Tracking #Protection (#Beta built into their mobile browser).
    .
I am doing my best to use #minimal apps, and only getting ones that are not security focused when necessary. I am not logging into Google, or any other #BigSocial/ #BigData services except when necessary.
    .
My question is, are there any #SMS / #Texting apps that allow you to login on the #Web and #sync messages to your phone (even if only on the same network), and a #keyboard that has #VoiceToText that does not use Google or #Microsoft? I am currently using #SwiftKey, but only until I figure out the #T9 app I am using with the KB (HYBRID phone running Android 11).
