Since the week-long #AuroraStoreApocalypse, I have had only one "server busy" error, and it was easily fixed by refreshing accounts. Was that #Google's way of telling us they own even our custom ROM phones and can come for us whenever they want to? #AuroraStore #CustomROM

Got a weird tech question, and I'm not sure which forum to post it to, so I'll put it out into the fediverse ether!

I use #lineageOS on a #Fairphone3 and most of my apps are installed via f-droid. But some are installed via #AuroraStore, when there isn't an fdroid version.

I'm not signed into Google play on this phone.

Most apps just work, but there are 3 which do a weird thing, and are unusable as a result - when they start they just spin out to a Google Play sign on page.

What's going on? And is there anything I can do about it?
