Can anyone give me a hint in how to solve a problem with #AuroraStore?

I have two apps "waiting for user confirmation" in the notification. If I tap on these notifications I am taken to the app in the store. The app there is "installing", both "cancel" and "open" are greyed out. I cannot do anything with these apps, they are not getting installed, I can't restart the process, restarts of the store or phone won't help.

I'm clueless. 🤷‍♀️

It seem that Google has too much time on their hands, so they are recently fucking with Aurora Store again. Huge pitty that EU has ever allowed such an unrestricted monopoly power to develop. Forcing everyone to use Google Play Store only through their app and targeting every alternative should be illegal. And that all was even before https://keepandroidopen.org/

I have to say, though, that the complete lack of communication from the people working on #AuroraStore about what was going on and what, if anything, they were doing has made me lose confidence in them. I couldn't find a single statement from them anywhere. I don't think there was anything they COULD do, but a simple acknowledgment that it was happening would have been reassuring. As it was, random users just had to look to other users for help

It seems #Google has stopped (for the moment) limiting apps being installed or updated through the #AuroraStore. It lasted about a week. Was that a shot over the bow? I can't imagine Google deciding to peacefully co-exist alongside open source Android use, beyond the control of Google. I'm afraid this was just a taste of things to come. #AuroraStoreApocalypse

@3sat ich wage das Experiment schon länger. Leider werden viele im Alltag erforderliche Apps (zB Banking) nur in den kommerziellen Appstores angeboten.

Nun will der Android-Platzhirsch den Zugang zu alternativen Appstores auf unfreien Androidgeräten sperren. Mir scheint, dass #aurorastore davon derzeit bereits betroffen ist. Heißt für mich: keine Updates mehr für die Apps aus den BigTech-Stores...

Es ist jedenfalls bitter zu sehen, wie schwer wir uns in Deutschland tun, für uns #dutgemacht #didit reklamieren zu können. ZB #Wero? Schwierig.

Immerhin erfreuen mich die Nachrichten aus #Hannover bzgl der Verwendung von MS365 an #Schule [0] – schade natürlich um das Lehrgeld, das nun gar nicht für Lehre zur Verfügung steht.

Auch die Sache mit iPad-Ausschreibung in #Datteln [1] weckt Hoffnung, dass offene Systeme (#Linux!) mittelfristig in den Schulen Einzug halten.

@nemo @justine Hi. Since yesterday, things are getting better with #aurorastore. I still have errors, but less, I've been able to perform 6 updates. Maybe not related, I received a #IodeOS 4 update.

Z asi deseti zkoušených aplikací mi jich všech asi deset spadlo s chybou "something went wrong" kvůli chybějícímu #Google Play.

Da der Aurorastore auf meinem googlefreien Handy seit einiger Zeit sagt, dass der Server ausgelastet sei, habe ich hier nach dem Hashtag #aurorastore gesucht und sofort die Lösung gefunden:

Die Lösung ist übrigens, eine neue Email für den anonymen Account erzeugen zu lassen, damit google Downloads wieder akzeptiert.

Besser ist es deshalb immer, keine Apps aus dem google Store zu installieren, sondern von #fdroid

#aurorastore ist bei mir auch nicht benutzbar, wegen "Server ausgelastet" ... Wir müssen wohl warten bis https://gitlab.com/AuroraOSS/AuroraStore/-/work_items/1566 gefixed ist.

Wird in Zukunft vermutlich von Google immer schwieriger gemacht. #keepandroidopen

Heute Morgen konnte ich im Aurora Store noch drei Apps updaten, jetzt komme ich nicht mal mehr rein und bekomme diese Meldung. Weiß jemand, was die bedeutet?

I just try to now add almost all my apps in ObtainX (advanced version of Obtainium), so I don't rely on Aurora store anymore.

I'm surprised I am not seeing more people talking about the #AuroraStore apocalypse. For the last several days, Aurora Store fails to update apps, returning a server busy" error message. There is one fix, but it seems to work only once every few hours, or not at all.
1) On the Aurora home page, tap the cog-shaped settings icon on the top right
2) Tap the cog-on-person icon next to the anonymous account name
3) Tap the 3-dots icon on the top right and select "refresh all accounts"

Pour ceux qui ont des problèmes de maj d'applications via Aurora Store «serveur is busy», il faut :

1. Actualiser le compte anonyme :
Paramètres / compte anonyme "..." / actualiser les comptes.
2. forcer la fermeture de l'application:
Appuis long sur l'icône de l'App / info / forcer l'arrêt.
3. vider le cache :
Info / Espace de stockage... / vider le cache

So oder so wird es für Aurora "dank" Googles kommender Abriegelung künftig immer schwieriger werden, zu existieren.

Politische Lösungen sind längst überfällig und müssen nun zügig kommen: offene App-Stores, Interoperabilität und das Recht, selbst zu entscheiden, woher Apps auf unseren Geräten kommen. Monopole müssen zerschlagen und Unternehmen dazu verpflichtet werden, ihre Apps auch unabhängig von Google und Apple anbieten zu können.

#AuroraStore ne fonctionne plus sur mon téléphone. Bah, spagrave, je ferai plus de mises à jour des applications, elles fonctionnent bien pour l'instant. Le jour où l'appli de ma banque bloquera, je leur demanderai de me filer un téléphone compatible.

Well, yes which one. I have #iodeos, anonymous account wirh #aurorastore. Annoying, the server tells repeatidly it's busy since Thursday.
I have to clear the cache and at least the data. Restart the app, choose anonymous connect, search for updates, install one.
I just have to repeat all of that this morning.

Boah wie blöd. Seit über einen Tag nun schon kann ich keine Apps unter GrapheneOS im Aurora Store aktualisieren. Immer kommt die Meldung das der Server überlastet ist und ich es später noch mal versuchen soll.

In order to give some more tips on what to explore next I'd say add @IzzyOnDroid repo to your f-droid install from apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid/

Respecto a tu pregunta:
Guardar todos tus datos personales a una compu, con #USB o KDEnlive.
Vivi una semana mas como si nada para darte tiempo de acordarte de todo lo que se te pueda complicar cuando reseteas a tu cel y tu vida a cero de fabrica.Total la #tiaHermanoGrande ya sabe mas de ti que tu, una semana mas, una samana menos, da lo mismo ..
Importante seran cosas como:

• contrasenias
• 2FA autentificacion
  ay opcion libre para ello, si eso es el caso preguntame
• accesso a sitios y servicios, no se, no conzco el mundo de los abusados por ciaIT
• accesso a servicos de pago, bancos los criminales (tontos) de mercadoLibre y todo eso
  en atricular estos servicios siempre deberias tener planB que en realidad des accessoA desde desktop #linux (se sabe)

Despues resetea tu cel y cuando lo reinicias, sin la #SIM ni accesso #wifi a internet, le decis a todas las preguntas que no. Habra una quizas dos que no te deja decir no, esas son para que gugles no se funda el dia que te tires por la ventana por lo diabolicos que son.

Cuando entonces tenes arancado tu cel lo mas limpio possible, detalle ademas que te dara tremenda tranquilidad, vas primero, aun sin SIM ni WIFI a:

• Ajustes
• #APP's

y vas aplicacion por aplicacion de google y (preveedores de mas), inclusive #chrome (!) y le pones parar y desacttivar.
Eventualmente deja #googleMaps, la unica APP justificable de los condores aquellos.
Eso si, acostumbrate de tener siempre, y repito que dije siempre, tener el GPS apagado y diles a todas las APP's ¡que no significa no! cuando mencionan #GPS. Las pocas veces que realmente lo preciasas, por ejemplo con Maps, lo prendes en el momento y lo apagas en el momento.
Razon:
Los unicos datos seguros son los que no existen.

Ahora viene la parte fascinante.
Le instalas:

Eso es el #playStore del #softwareLibre.
Todos las aps son gratis, como en "chicas gratis" (de entrada en discotecas, se sabe).
Y todas las apps tienen un apartado que dice, si es el caso:
"Advertencia, puede que partes de esta APP no te gusten".
Leete esta parte siempre, aunque bien despreocupada ya que esto son advertencias de puritanos mormones que siquiera te mirarian, al menos que ya estuvieran cazados con tigo.

Tu vide en tu cellular nunca sera como antes.

Tenes practicamente todas las APP's pero #KISS ya que son gratis y hechas por idealistas.
Nada de propaganda.
Nada de venderte la mas nueva actualizacion, simplemente aplicaciones pequenas para que puedas hacer lo que en realidad querias.
O sea, sin #enshittiffication, como dirira @pluralistic.

Ademas tenes una APP en el #fDroid que se llama #auroraStore. Te da accesso al playStore de #laTiaLenteja sin registrarte y podes instalar practicamente todas las app's que quieras. Cosa que no recomiendo en absoluto, ya que todes intentaran de mirarte por debajo de .. mejor no hablar de ciertas cosas :(.

Sin embargo por ejemplo me instale una APP para una camara tipo goPro de panasonic que no conseguis si no.
Bueno, mentiririta otras ves, tambien esta:

Un sitio que te deja bajar APP's que figuran en el playStore, tambien versiones mas antiguas de una APP.
Para mi #SamsungNX por ejemplo, una camera digital que uso con lentes de antanio, de las cameras de antes, me funciona solo una version inicial de la app correspondiente, no la ultima actualizacion.

Lo que si no funca por suerte con este setup es la APP de los hdp de #mercadoLibre.
Y la verdad, mejor, asi no la usas.
