Sorry for challenging the question, but would you consider using #AuroraStore? Search for RFID as well as NFC.

Can anyone give me a hint in how to solve a problem with #AuroraStore?

I have two apps "waiting for user confirmation" in the notification. If I tap on these notifications I am taken to the app in the store. The app there is "installing", both "cancel" and "open" are greyed out. I cannot do anything with these apps, they are not getting installed, I can't restart the process, restarts of the store or phone won't help.

I'm clueless. 🤷‍♀️

So oder so wird es für Aurora "dank" Googles kommender Abriegelung künftig immer schwieriger werden, zu existieren.

Politische Lösungen sind längst überfällig und müssen nun zügig kommen: offene App-Stores, Interoperabilität und das Recht, selbst zu entscheiden, woher Apps auf unseren Geräten kommen. Monopole müssen zerschlagen und Unternehmen dazu verpflichtet werden, ihre Apps auch unabhängig von Google und Apple anbieten zu können.

Since @calyxos has resolved it's issues and has published current versions again, I've flashed my #FP4 which is running #Android 16 now and is back on OTA updates.

I've used #seedvault for the first time and I'm very impressed! This was the best set-up process on a phone I had so far. Seedvault restored nearly everything without any issues. Thank you so much!

Instalacja błyskawiczna, a teraz zabawa z konfiguracją aplikacji.

Sam szukałem tych informacji, więc dla następnych szukających:
1. W Private Space z usługami Google:
- IKO działa, płatności BLIK też,
- Erste działa, płatności nie działają - podobno problemem jest właśnie Private Space
- mObywatel działa
- McDonald - nie działa :D (ale to tylko na plus)

2. Na głównym profilu głównie #openSource z #obtainium ewentualnie dla mniej istotnych aplikacji #fdroid i #aurorastore - ale te dwa ostatnie będę chciał docelowo zlikwidować

Got a weird tech question, and I'm not sure which forum to post it to, so I'll put it out into the fediverse ether!

I use #lineageOS on a #Fairphone3 and most of my apps are installed via f-droid. But some are installed via #AuroraStore, when there isn't an fdroid version.

I'm not signed into Google play on this phone.

Most apps just work, but there are 3 which do a weird thing, and are unusable as a result - when they start they just spin out to a Google Play sign on page.

What's going on? And is there anything I can do about it?

2026 es el año en el que debes desinstalar Google Play.
A estas alturas, con el empeoramiento año tras año de los servicios de #Google y su empuje por prohibirnos instalar apps de código abierto de repositorios mucho mejor supervisados que #GooglePlay, instala en su lugar esto:

... Ich habe viel gelernt und finde ihr leistet da viel wertvolle Vermittlungsarbeit in dem ihr die technischen Themen so runterbrecht.

Wenn wir aber schon dabei sind: Auch bei dieser Produktion habe ich mich gefragt, warum open source keine Rolle spielt, und zwar vor allem im #wastun Kapitel. Dieses fand ich extrem unbefriedigend, da es, abgesehen von ein paar Handy Einstellungen bei euch ja so ein bisschen darauf hinausläuft, dass man einem Anbieter halt vertraut oder nicht. Das ist dann in etwa so wie googles #DontBeEvil aus den 0er jahren ;)
Dass man Apps durch open source alternativen ersetzen kann, die die eigenen Daten nicht verkaufen, dass es dafür auf android mit #fdroid sogar einen eigenen App Store gibt wäre zumindest eine Erwähnung wert gewesen. Für die die nicht auf proprietäre Apps verzichten wollen, gibt es immerhin den #aurorastore , der auf den Google Playstore zugreift (wenn gewünscht anonym), aber zu jeder App eine Analyse der enthaltenen Tracker bietet... (von iPhones habe ich keine Ahnung)
