Is there any way I can make a shortcut (Can use activities) to go directly to the keypad (the T9 thing for directly inputting phone numbers) on my phone? I'm using LineageOS.

Is there ANY way to make sure certain contacts get past my phone being set to vibrate on Android 15? On my old phone running Android 11 my phone would ring for my mom even if the phone was on vibrate. How do I have this behavior on stock Android 15? I have root access, so I can do hacky methods if needed.

Here's a question for the Fediverse :
We communicate with my elderly father-in-law using his Samsung tablet and video chat. He is clumsy and confused at times, and somehow, he manages to turn off WiFi or set airplane mode, or both, so we can't contact him. He swears he doesn't do it. Is there some way to lock WiFi on, so he can't accidentally turn it off? We could give those instructions to a carer, with limited technology understanding.

Anyone know how to permanently remove a #Notification on #Android that reads,

"A new way to talk to Google: Try the Google Assistant"?

I don't have Google Assistant enabled. All notifications I can find in Settings are switched off.

And the notification does not appear in Google, Bing or DDG search results.

I'm moving a lot of pictures from my old phone to my new one and decided that the best course of action would be to do a backup on #googlephotos #GooglePhoto

That went fine and I made an album, planning on downloading it all on my phone's storage, but all guides say there should be a drop-down menu and it's not there

While I can download them manually, they are about 470 and I'd rather do a mass download, how can I do that?
