dear reader
i am indeed spread too thin, but much has been worked on in the background.
With the recent (i pray temporary) demise of lemmy's sdf, where unix_surrealism had its place in the fediverse sun, I took the time to recreate the analognowhere website yet again. Maybe this website rework might provide a new way to experience what I've created to old and new fans alike from all walks of activitypub implementations and the wild wild web.
https://analognowhere.com now reads like a book, the order of things has been reversed - you can start on page 1 and keep going forward to go through the entire catalogue. this eternal feed contains all the long issues that previously existed in a separate directory. Once you open an image post, a new feature i am very much proud will present itself - it is the ability to click on the pictures themselves to navigate back and forth (pressing the left half of a picture goes to the previous post, pressing the right half goes to the next one). a new option "up" is also present, which will take you to the current page of the feed where the post you're currently viewing resides.
I am still working on the issue I promised you last month, it's hopefully going to be the best one yet, even topping the infamous Grendel in length. I do wish for it to be good and not rushed for the sake of being put out asap, so firstly excuse the delay, and secondly, thank you for sticking around for all the other things I've been working on in the meantime.
That being said, I am quite surprised but pleased that https://subversive.pics gained so much traction over the past months. What originally started as my own private aggregator of about 3 independent galleries that I wanted to keep up with, grew into a recognizable term of an anti-solution of digital collaboration.

What's up?
I am working on the next techno-mage issue, which will come out as a complete story sometime in April. I like to think this will result in a more enjoyable experience as opposed to rushing out parts and pages.
I am also continuously working on the comic series Creatures and my passion project Kitty Odysseus. Which you may or may not enjoy in the meanwhile.

Ugh, I'm facing a conundrum...I want to buy merchandise made by the people behind analognowhere...
However, they made a cursed choice to sell their wares on Redbubble. Who grasped the goblet of AI and drank too deep, and the poison integrated into their corporate flesh. The Redbubble site has cursed GenAI integration that allows you to "create" merchandise designs.
However, real artists actually sell human made designs on this site. Artists that could use the money dollars. Ugh, this sucks. It would've been an insta-buy in any other case...

forbidden cartography
Circa 200 years after the Three MATA Brothers left their bunker to reassert MATACORP dominance over what remained of the destroyed planet, a hobbyist cartographer, Mavic Pengellan, born to an affluent penguin family in one of the Penguin Protectorates, would create his depiction of the world (with a fair amount of creative liberties).
His work was immediately suppressed in favor of the official MATACORP map of the world.
Pengellan's map however remains as the closest approximation of the world, used by wandering techno-mages.
