Why and where I found it is when I was reading the Wikipedia article on the Alta Via del Sale, from where this picture is taken. It’s also one of the examples. It is on average rated SG 3-4 and piece-wise SG 4-5.
One other example, also ridden by us during the Alps Divide ULTRA was the Col de Sommeiler, which is rated SG 4 throughout.

Arbeiten am Roadbook. Im Hotel in Menton. Auch bei fixed Route Rennen muss man seine Hausaufgaben machen. Vor dem Urlaub blieb leider keine Zeit. Aber dafür habe ich ja auch die Anreise-Woche so geplant, wie sie ist. :)

per Straße (und zweimal Autoverlad) wär’s gewesen: 379 km, 5,5 Stunden
Mit Regionalzügen (weil a) Radplatz-Bedarf und b) Verbindung Brig-Mailand gestört mit Schienenersatzverkehr) war es; siehe oben: 11:26 bis 22:50 = 11,5 Stunden!Aber: Heute morgen Thun und jetzt Savona. :)
