  1. Josh Johnson is on tour, in London this week. Here’s some of his routine from yesterday. It’s about 40 minutes. The first part is his basic schtick, but please be sure to keep watching, listening, or skip ahead to 23:00 and watch the next 14 minutes. We think, “it can’t happen here.” It’s happening here, folks. He’s talking, of course, about #Minneapolis. And #Alex_Pretti. youtu.be/VukAjVNhJlY?si=rDVoDV

  2. Let me rehash a series of observations I made about the killing of Renee Good. There is something all too horribly familiar about the way events keep playing out — not especially distinctive of any one writer or director but already on its way to becoming a trope.

    January 14, 2026 —

The more I watch the Minneapolis shooting videos, especially the shooter's‑eye‑view and the two‑minute buildup of forces before the event, the more I realize I am watching an execution.

What I'm saying is — it wasn't a flash reaction but a planned and deliberate performance. The agent (provocateur) calmly circled the target's car, documenting what he went there to do, then shot her three times. If he bumped the car at all, it was one of those insurance fraud type moves.

The shooter went there looking for someone to kill, think Kyle Rittenhouse at Kent State. What's happening now is what they wanted to happen. They may be wrong about the sequel, but only time will tell …

Too premeditated, maybe even rehearsed. The whole team was on an op. The agent sauntered in, played his bit, and nonchalantly sauntered out, knowing full well no one would stop him. It wasn't in the script.

I think we've seen enough of these cinematic scenarios by now to recognize their hallmarks, the way the feds swoop in out of thin air to seize and sanitize the crime scene like they were waiting in the wings the whole time.

  7. Alex Pretti giving a veteran a final salute at his bedside in 2024. This is the man MAGA is calling a "domestic terrorist", in attempted justification for his murder in Minnesota for holding a cell phone at an ICE protest.

Please boost, the world needs to see and hear it:

“Today, we remember that freedom is not free. We have to work at it, nurture it, protect it and even sacrifice for it. May we never forget and always remember our brothers and sisters who have served, so that we may enjoy the gift of freedom. So in this moment, we remember and give thanks for their dedication and selfless service to our nation in the cause of freedom. In this solemn hour, we render our honor and our gratitude.”

In related news, #ICE and #DHS has thoroughly pissed off the gun rights groups by portraying 'had a gun' as criminal. That will not play well.

Also WaPo is confirming other reporting that Alex Pretti's gun was secured _BEFORE_ the shooting.

"Federal agents who were wrestling a man to the ground in Minneapolis early Saturday secured a handgun he was carrying moments before shooting him multiple times... emerged from the scrum holding Pretti’s gun, having removed it from his waistband area. Less than a second later, the first of what appear to be 10 shots was fired..."

They also say "It is not clear from the video whether the other agents realized Pretti — who local authorities believe had a permit to carry the weapon — had been disarmed."

Which is wholly unimportant: He was not brandishing and that is the ONLY thing that matters. They had no excuse, much less reason, to murder him.

EDIT: Quotes from the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus statement:
We are deeply concerned by this morning’s reports that a federal law enforcement operation in Minneapolis resulted in the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Alex Pretti by federal agents.

According to local officials, the man was legally armed, a firearm was recovered at the scene, and he is believed to have been a lawful gun owner and permit to carry holder.

Many critical facts remain unknown. ... there has been no evidence produced indicating an intent to harm the officers.
    ...

Every peaceable Minnesotan has the right to keep and bear arms—including while attending protests, acting as observers, or exercising their First Amendment rights.

These rights do not disappear when someone is lawfully armed, and they must be respected and protected at all times.

  12. So now Governor #Walz is now responsible for the "critical" situation and while the "law enforcement officers" were violently attacked there is not one word that #Alex_Pretti was shot. Not only shot but executed with several shots on a person that was on the ground struggling to even stand up.

#Kristi_Noem knows what happened and she deliberately chooses to ignore any responsibility or regret.
