Mistigram: nothing says December quite like basketball, first devised to give athletes an indoor sport to play in cold months. AdeptApril celebrates it in #ANSIart today as it’s the birthday of James Naismith, the Canadian inventor of the sport in 1891: a Canadian Heritage moment.

Mistigram: it seems that back in 2020 (!), when AdeptApril’s #ANSIart calendar illustrations were being drawn, November the 6th fell on the first Friday in November — on which occasion is celebrated #FountainPen Day. This year November’s first Friday would have been on Nov 1st, but this is the screen we have to share so you just have to do a little time travelling with us … but you can handwrite about it in elegant calligraphy in your time travel journal afterwards!
