Why on Earth does every second website appear to be loading scripts from gstatic.com?

Or is it my browser doing that? Which would be weird when I'm using supposedly privacy-orientated, 100% Free Code browsers, like ABrowser and LibreWolf... But NoScript still shows me pages trying to load scripts from gstatic.com, and a lot of pages are completely non-functional without them.
