  1. A good one from Bobby Finger today, about trust. Which feels timely as I prepare to present some brand new stuff at a conference this week, which always comes with the secret fear that it might be garbage. So, trust.

  2. Super grateful to @jamiattenberg.bsky.social for featuring me in today's installment of #1000wordsofsummer, a daily newsletter with inspirational/noodly writing thoughts.

Wherein I confess to being one of those people who talk to themselves too much

  4. Finished my day with 1031 words, a painted fence, and a bonkers big pot of leak and potato soup, whoooo!

(Apparently Ireland will face a potato shortage later this summer so I'm relishing all sorts of spuds while I can and before the fights break out.)

  8. Day 11 of #1000WordsOfSummer and I ended up with 1,111 words. I did not get that word count on purpose, except for the last word. I had to add one to 1, 110 when I saw the initial total.

  13. I have started a newsletter on Substack. I am now participating in #1000WordsOfSummer which is mostly a Twitter thing, but I'll post here about it.
I was a little self-conscious and unsure if I should share links here, but I will at least share this one
