Leider habe ich mir einen Infekt eingefangen, deshalb habe ich in den letzten Tagen nicht viel an meiner #S51 gemacht. Aber: Viel ist auch nicht mehr zu tun :neocat_happy:
✅ Auf die mitgelieferten Lagergummis für den Tank gewechselt (passen besser)
✅ Tank und Seitendeckel beklebt
✅ Kleinere Lackschäden am Rahmen ausgebessert
✅ Bremszug Vorderradbremse verlegt
✅ Neue Tachowelle verlegt
Morgen muss ich eigentlich nur noch den Vergaser einstellen und Gemisch tanken, dann könnte ich mal einen kleinen Test wagen :neocat_happy: Morgen gibt's dann auch ein Foto, versprochen! :neocat_laugh:

In den letzten Tagen habe ich wieder ein bisschen an der Simme gebastelt. Ich musste noch mal neue Bowdenzüge bestellen, weil meine ursprünglich Bestellten zu kurz waren. Ich hatte nicht auf dem Schirm, dass einer der Vorbesitzer einen Enduro-Lenker verbaut hat und die Längen daher nicht mehr passen :neocat_facepalm: Hätte mir auffallen sollen, aber da ich nur den einen Lenker bisher live gesehen habe, kannte ich den Vergleich höchstens von Bildern.
Der Fortschritt soweit:
✅ Passende Bowdenzüge für Gaszug und Startvergaser erst mal nur an den Griffen eingehängt
✅ Kupplungszug
✅ Neues Tankset
✅ Zusätzliches Werkzeugfach eingebaut und bestückt
Die Tachowelle ist leider noch nicht angekommen.

Eine Weile wird es noch dauern, bis meine #S51 wieder fit ist. Gestern habe ich Schließhaken und Schloss für den Herzkasten und die Gummitüllen für den Bremslichtschalter am Bremsgriff und für die Anschlüsse der Zündspule verbaut, heute die neue Batterie. Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Tachowelle beschädigt ist – also gleich ein weiteres Teil bestellt :neocat_laugh:
Morgen kann ich hoffentlich mit dem Bowdenzug für die Vorderradbremse weitermachen. Ein extra Werkzeugfach für die lange Fahrt, eine Mischölflasche für unterwegs und Ersatzteile für den Vergaser sollten dann auch ankommen 🤘:neocat_happy:

This was once the home of the company that became Fisons Ltd. It doesn't explicitly state it, but the Wikipedia entry suggests that 'Edward Fison Ltd' could have been used in the 1920s: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fisons.

I watched BlackBerry on CBC Gem -- for free! -- as a 3 part series, instead of the movie format. I thought it was a masterpiece. Jay Baruchel was great in a more serious role and Glenn Howerton knocked it out of the part, like I knew he would.
