    I managed to get to within a few metres of it to take these shots.

    It is an uncommon resident bird in Singapore.

  3. First time I've seen the Brown Shrike (Lanius cristatus) at my hometown in Perak, Malaysia. This was during the holiday trip last week.

    Spotted a Brown Shrike several times over the next few days while there. Those might have been the same as this one.
