I had a fair amount of this last Saturday watching Scotland's magnificent triumph over England in the rugby six-nations Calcutta Cup match - the fourth win in a row 😃
Beneath the gentle smoke, there are wafts of pencil shavings and rubber with savoury, salty hints. Sweet caramel and spicy cinnamon hits the tongue along with sweet marshmallows. Finishing with lingering toffee and smoke.
Doddie Weir was one of Scotland's finest players. He died in 2022 at the age of 52 after an almost six-year battle with Motor Neurone Disease. Cask 372 was selected by Doddie and his friends during a visit to the distillery in 2022 with all proceeds from the bottle sale going to the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.
