I think the #DUP are selling it as a win because they have seen of the challenge from #UUP & #TUV. They are clearly relieved that they are still the biggest Unionist party. The small matter of their shrinking vote share and the fact they didn't gain any seats is something they are glossing over.
They can't even begin to address core problems that #Unionism face. It's vote is shrinking, they can't even convince the voters they have to vote to come out and vote for them

I gave a the #UUP a transfer at the assmebly elections because we need a reasonable unionist voice at the table. However, that won't be happening this time.

Makes a change from #Jeff saying that other #unionist parties are stealing the #DUP vote. They only want unionist unity as long as they are top dogs.
The #DUP will try the same tactics with the councils. However is it not harder to keep a council down when they don't have the majority? As long as other parties can get a quorum then the meeting goes ahead, is my understanding.

I will be honest I like the Garden at Antrim Castle Gardens. I think that is well done. Not overly fussed that it was made for the Queen. It is nice addition to the garden.
Hazelbank is a very different park to Antrim. As you say Harriett more accessible at night. It may not survive long. #BigHat

That is why these events at #QUB are discredited in my opinion, when you include a woman like Foster.
After all, she left a pro #GFA25 party to support & eventually led an anti #GFA25 party, who still doesn't support it. However is prepared to take the benefits of the institutions introduced by the #GFA. In the month of the celebration of GFA, she attacked the US President for being Anti-British because he is proud of is Irish ancestry.

There is quite a bit of work to be done before that vote is called. We need a white paper from the Irish Government about the way forward. We need citizen assemblies right across the island on the way forward. We can't prepare for unity the way the UK prepared for Brexit.
Harriett, I think you will see a United Ireland. Especially if the #Unionists keep proving to the #middleground, they aren't prepared to make #NI work.

I called out a right wing nut job for calling #Zelenskyy a piece of shit and I get suspended! Whilst Benny Johnson continues to publish Kremlin propaganda without sanction. Funny old world!
