@hannu_ikonen The word fascist and/or Nazi is used often these days, with the utmost inexactitude, to refer to several #National-Populist movements, it is also used to refer to any #tyrannic governments with the exception of #Communist regims, which also tyrannic in nature and substance, are not often referred as Fascist. I've also heard the term #Islamo-Fascist to refer to theocratic tyrannic regimes like those currently governing Iran or Afghanistan.

Nazi is an abbreviation of #National-Socialist. #Fascism is a political ideology popularized by Benito Mussolini whose party was the Italian Social Movement MSI. #National-Sindicalism was postulated by J.A. Primo de Rivera his party was called #Falange Espanola, his theories were partially included by Franco on his National Movement.

Also I wonder if they heard about a FISA Court. @Zjeff @mekkes @joostvanspanje The problem is there's no clear consensus within Hungary regarding their long term commitment to the #EU, and they didn't have a referendum calling the question. Once #Hungary is in the #EU we should try to wait until they clarify their position, while enforcing #EURules and punishing within those #EU rules. This situation is one of the reasons I ask for prudence before any new nations are accepted in the #EU: we had enough poorly made decisions.

@Joaquincastrotx The first time we heard of #DreamAct, later #DACA, was on a draft circulated by Gutierrez, then Durbin & Hatch around 2000. Then Lugar and Hagel...we been dealing with this for over 2 decades and Congress has failed to pass a bill each time, so it could be a chance to finally get it done.

@[email protected] @joostvanspanje Considering the fact that the President of the #EUCommission is appointed by the #EUCouncil (made of the elected heads of government of the 27) and the #EUParliament, hundreds of millions voted for the #EUCommison President, just like the Prime Minister of the UK or that of any other parliamentary system nation. Even the President of the US is NOT directly elected, but by an electoral college, in some cases the President-elect received less votes than his opponent.
