Watched Scorsese’s Color of Money yesterday. Last I’ve seen it when it came in the mid-80s, I guess.
What a flick! What intense editing! What visual flair! And what! Tom Cruise can actually act!?! (Other than Tom Cruise The Superstar Hero™, that is.)

I don't think there’s a single unnecessary shot in Dead Ringers. The cronenbergian themes reach the maturity, as he finally leaves b-#movie influences behind. Sexuality, identity… what do we really understand about being human?
Mixing Burrough's life story with his book in Naked Lunch was an ingenious idea, I think. It "ties the room together”. With all the surreal stuff going on, it's a surprisingly calm and clear #film.

Can’t be avoided anymore, this is the last possible day to go to #Sillamäe city #museum. Leaving for #Tallinn tomorrow so early that I can't cram a museum visit there.
It's probably interesting, tho, this being a former closed city where they enriched uranium back in the #soviet times, among other things.
I hope they have texts in #English, tho. My rusty #Russian and wobbly #Estonian are no good here…
