Last week, over a few days, we watched Made in England: The Films of Powell and Pressburger. It's a documentary about 20th century film makers Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, by Martin Scorsese.
This doco is a love job by Scorsese, who grew up in awe of these film makers. He brings his passion to the task, and yet presents a very clear-eyed view of their history, through the ups and downs.
Recommended if you have an interest in the art of film making.
