I really don't understand why you'd await an undici request.stream? Like, it seems if you want to stream from say network to s3, and you want to await it, then you need to do Promise.allSettled([ upload.done(), requestStream ])
If you await the requestStream first, the upload doesn't seem to receive any data for some reason.

Just did a test, and I think we may be able to implement FedCM in Mastodon. It seems that you can actually create Doorkeeper Applications with a client_id that's a URL, rather than having it generate a unique client_id for you.
However, where it fails is that you don't get a unique client_id, so registering the same client again fails with a duplicate record error (maybe this is intentional?)
I guess FedCM client_id's don't have a client_secret at all to use…

So let me get this right: Europol wants to not have E2EE because it would prevent them finding CSAM / CSE (among other things), but Europol also doesn't have a CyberTipline API for organisations to report CSAM / CSE to law enforcement?
So you aren't receiving reports of CSAM / CSE efficiently from existing services, but arguing you want to violate everyone's privacy to "find CSAM / CSE"
Did I get that right?

Handlebars.js is the worst templating language in existence, but, if you have to use it, and need some sort of "global" value in your templates, e.g., a csrf_token, then you can use this:

Given an activitypub server only generally deals with activities it understands & stores data for things it cares about, logically I'd think it must be possible to just split replay all activities to each underlying instance, and to do actor merging at collection level or something.

Huh, was curious about aphantasia after hearing that it might be linked to other things, and even though I was pretty certain I had it, turns out I've hypophantasia, which basically means I can't see mental images when trying to visualise things.
But I also know I wasn't always like this.. It's only been in the past.. 5-10 years that I haven't really been able to visualise things.

Does anyone have good links for where I can learn a bit more about egress proxies? Particularly for Kubernetes?
Use-case: I need to request a lot of potentially large media from servers outside of my control (one's that exist on the fediverse), and I'd like to do this as safely as possible, without exposing anything internal to my network/cluster.

I wonder how hard it'd be to get SQRL to load rules from a database? Currently it seems to be all based around filesystems and pre-compiled files.
I guess this makes sense in systems where you track all the changes in git and automatically deploy the service, but I'm not sure that's suitable for all environments?
