It's sad to see the shadow of Ingenuity's rotor blade like this. According to Teddy Tzanetos, the outer 25% of the lower rotor are missing, presumably due to an impact with the ground during landing of Flight 72.

One year ago today the #DARTMission crashed into asteroid Dimorphos. This image was taken by the accompanying #LICIACube spacecraft and shows ejecta streaming out after the impact.

I finally managed to process my own image of the #SN2023ixf supernova in #M101.
Crazy to think this event actually happend some 21 million years ago, but we can still observe it changing brightness in mere days. -
What a beauty! This is comet C/2024 G3 (ATLAS) passing through the field of view of the LASCO C3 coronagraph.
It wasn't for certain whether it would survive it's closest approach to the sun on January 13th, but it did and delivered us a spectacular show!

Finally figured out an annoying bug in my code related to NED and ENU coordinate conventions.
This means my converted Marsrover images now have accurate pointing information from the CAHVOR camera model embedded in xmp metadata.
Programs like PTGui or Metashape can import this as priors, so creating panoramas or photogrammetry scans will be a lot easier in the future! -
