I started photographing the earrings. This is going to be a slog. These are some of the earrings I've got organized in my "bar dangle" inventory box. Multiple variations of the same basic theme and I need photographs of each style.

Today's #jewelry photo shoot is under way.
I've got 6 rings in inventory and just photographed them from two angles. Here are 4 of them. 3 Hubei Turquoise and 1 fire agate. All of the metal is solid sterling silver.
I just realized that my order from #Chewy did not include the automatic water dish I ordered. I use an automatic waterer in my garage for my cat and the one I've got now is leaking. I called Chewy, my phone was answered by a human, and that same human took care of the problem by refunding me for the missing item and re-ordering the item at a discount. It'll arrive in 3 to 5 days. And now I have a small credit on my Chewy account for future use. THAT is good #CustomerService.

I went out for another look and I brought the spotlight with me. Another bunch came into my yard from the hillside between my property and my neighbors. One of them was a bull elk. I'm not sure if he was the one doing the bugling. The females are making a little tiny noise as they move around. It's fascinating. I just hope there aren't any hunters up here this morning.
I wish I'd gotten a picture of that bull! He had a pretty good rack.
There's a male elk bugling much closer than usual this morning. I don't know much about elk; is the bugling a mating call? If so, there's a definite possibility of me being able to witness elk sex in my side yard this morning. 😳 oh man
The sound is incredible and I wish I could capture it and share it here. Sadly, I don't think my instance allows video uploads; I've never been able to do so.
They are out there again! I think there's probably about 20 of them. Female #elk. It's a lot darker out than this photo suggests. (I gotta love the camera on my iPhone.)

What this means to me is that $85 will be in limbo for up to 90 days when the person who ordered my jewelry will get it tomorrow.
I'm starting to wonder if this is a credit card theft issue. If that's the case, the credit card company should be held liable.
I use pre-made niobium ear wires for the copper earrings I make. I used to be able to buy them from my regular #jewelry supplier, Rio Grande, but they stopped selling them. So now I buy from an AZ company called Reactive Metals, which sells metals like niobium and titanium.

Got my first credit card chargeback for the online order I processed on Saturday. And I rushed the order and shipped with Priority Mail at my expense! I've got plenty of evidence to prove the charge is legit. I hope the bank and Square don’t screw this up. It’s $85.

On tap for today: everything I was supposed to do yesterday. I just couldn't get it together yesterday afternoon.
So I'm going to photograph my earrings, bracelets, and rings; update my online shop; put my truck away; and organize my studio. I'd really like to get back to making stuff. In the meantime, my new trim saw should arrive today, although I don't think I'll set it up until tomorrow. I might work on a rolling tabletop for it, utilizing a camp table with a sink built-in.
The elk were out in my side yard again this morning. This time, I had the foresight to look for them with my spotlight before I let the dogs out. I counted about a dozen females. The light got them moving, so by the time I came down with the dogs, they were pretty much gone. It's hunting season here and I'm wondering if they know that it's safer to stay up in the hills than to go down into the wildlife corridor that abuts my property. Could they be that smart?
