@ChrisMayLA6 the failure to spend on so many areas because 'we can't afford it' (austerity) ends up pushing higher costs onto other areas as the whole system creaks, in this case NHS. Historically it's been non-Conservative governments that have made advances in the social realm. Not this one though. And I can't see that changing. #LINO

They'd also look at the fate of the Iraqi "Marsh Arabs" who were promised help by George H. W. Bush, and I think, minority ethnicities like the Hmong in Vietnam, and AIUI communist anti-Nazi partisans in Italy, and the assurances given to Ukraine as part of UKR giving up its nuclear weapons, and the disappearance of US support for anti-Assad rebels on Trump's orders.(Anthony Albanese going "All the way with LBJ" looks like lunacy in light of the above.)
