It’s #MastodonMonday! This is a rare #SouthDakota mastodon tooth from the US National Museum collection in Washington. #WesternScienceCenter staff Brittney Stoneburg and Brett Dooley photographed it last week, and we produced the #photogrammetry #3dmodel the next day. We made this model so we can take measurements from it for our mastodon research. #paleontology #fossils #Pleistocene
