Given that I've just moved servers from @Tech.lgbt to @Lgbtqia.space, it's time for me to give you another Introduction!

I'm Nikki, an #ExPat Brit (who is half Canadian and now a U.S. Citizen) living just west of #PDX, Portland, OR.

As a #trans and #queer person growing up in the 1980s and 90s, Music became a much-needed escape from the real world, and I ended up attending #GSMD in London and becoming a professional #Oboist and #MusicTeacher.

In 2010 I changed career. I'm the owner and co-presenter of @show, where we try to help the world become cleaner, greener, safer, smarter and more equitable through greener transportation and clean energy. (@[email protected] is my work account).

I'm a total #Nerd, and I enjoy #cycling, RetroComputing, #OpenSource and much more. I'm married to the amazing @amerikate, and I love to #Garden. So! Here’s a rundown of all the fairs, cons and shows I’m doing this year SO FAR. We’re kicking things off this Sunday with South London Comic and Zine Fair, then it’s Pride Raf and LICAF in September and finally rounding things off with Thought Bubble Festival in November- see you there :D
