And yes, you were alleging @johnquiggin is bought by the #FossilFuelLobby. He is an academic of good reputation and does have #economic insights that are worth considering no matter which side of politics one supports IMHO. As for the #AustralianInstitute, I like what #RichardDenniss and #GregJericho have to say almost without excception (Neither of them are bought by #Fortesque or the fossil lobby BTW).I don’t really want to argue with you. Everyone deserves to hold an opinion and, when opportunity arises, to express it. Just because you allege @johnquiggin is owned by #FossilFuels peddlers, it does not ipso facto invalidate his opinion (you may not agree with that opinion, but that’s ok). If you read him in this case, he makes a good arguement for splitting the AEMO’s remit and advocates the cleavened part to be publically owned and operated.Just because Karl Marx is, well, a marxists, doesn’t mean I shouldn’t read him when I firmly believe that capitalism can work with more guardrails in place. I am reminded ot the adage that talks about baby and bathwater here. Still you have a right to your opinion. I just don’t agree with it. You also conflate a lot of separate issues to bulk up your view here (not a personal criticism here, just an observation).
Oh.. and you don’t have to like Quiggin, or even read him if you don’t wish to. And that ok too. Always happy to discuss, as long as the issue/topic is clear and free of diversions.

I've been playing with #stereophotography - using two DSLRs clamped together on a hefty frame on a tripod, it is almost interesting rather than covert. It is tricky and as with movies and TV only slightly interesting.
At the end of the antepenultimate century though it looked for a while as if stereo was how photography would go.The #V&A has a few exhibits and items.
