CW: Zenshu spoilers
Zenshu has been such a bright spot in an otherwise very dark period. I really love this show and what it's doing. And it's got so many brilliant details, like some of its references are rather obvious but others are not. Like the scene at the bar in which Luke asks Unio for advice concerning marriage which I'd say is a fairly subtle reference to the scene between Max and Hikaru in SDF Macross, spitting out drinks and all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMKcUgd5LC4&t=331s

If you're into anime, and if you've been into it for a while, you really really want to watch Zenshu. This show is *amazing*. It's at the same time a love letter and a scathing critique of everything that's wrong with the medium. Plus several layers of social critique around it. But also a glorious piece of art and a feast for the eyes. Also brace yourself for references that are more than half a century old. Believe me, it's worth it.

The only thing I'd like to add is that we're past the point when buying this year's computer gets you something only slightly better than last year. Every computer available is more expensive than last year's and comes with less RAM and storage than last year's. And the software has become less reliable too, and you can't even escape that.

People help me place this scene from Tamon-kun's B-side finale. I'm 100% positive it's a reference to some older anime/manga I've seen, and it must be something *old*. The first thing that came to mind is Please Save my Earth but I don't think that's it, Urusei Yatsura also comes to mind but I can't find anything that matches.
