People will enjoy more protection, when public offices are protected against foreseeable abuse of power by candidates of whatever party, who lack the responsibility, sense of duty to serve, social awareness & a moral/ ethical compass to correctly distinguish between right & wrong.
In short: Make sure to keep inevitably destructive sociopaths away from public offices.

@Barbramon1 @Beachbum @VeroniqueB99 The argument I’ve seen circulating on #FoxNews and elsewhere is “I had to show my birth certificate and piece of mail to get a real ID.” Indeed, I had to do exactly that when I moved to #Tennessee last year. It’s interesting to me that the other part of that, that the name on your birth certificate has to match your current name, is either not understood or is deliberately not made plain. I’m still optimistic that the #SaveAct won’t pass, though I know #Trump is all in for it. Guess we’ll see if a spine somehow exists in all of the mess of the GOP.
