Elections compress widely varying opinions into a single measure reasonably representative of the majority.

Unfortunately, #ElectoralCollege and #gerrymandering wildly distorts the electorate and election results.

If just 114,885 Trump voters — spread in the right proportions across the “blue wall” states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania — had flipped their votes over to Kamala Harris, she would have won.

If those same voters had all been from Massachusetts, it wouldn't have made a bit of difference.

This is why Trump's attempts to get voter rolls from Blue States is so dangerous: he only needs to change a few votes.

Your wishing will not make the Electoral College disappear. The only way to eliminate the #ElectoralCollege is with the passage of a Constitutional Amendment. That will never happen because it cannot be passed without the approval by states that would be agreeing to reduce the political power of their citizens. They will never voluntarily do that.
