It should be illegal for #CreditKarma to email you things like "Jason: Something's new with your open accounts."
And it's just an advertising email that follows up with "Just a monthly reminder to check your accounts."
Nothing is fucking new with my accounts, but thanks for making it seem like there was fraud I needed to address right away.
Yay ad revenue from clicks!

#PodSaveTheWorld hosts are **rightly** almost yelling in response to #Biden on the #ICC's arrest warrants for #Netanyahu.
"That is a gift to Russia.
That is a gift to China.
That is a gift to any autocrat that wants to live in a world with impunity."

Unrelated to my issue with #VividSeats, but does anyone know off-hand if it’s illegal to ship a box of cow manure to an address every day for months, if the recipient is not a fan of the odorous farming resource?
Because if I do get a ticket for this show on short notice, I’m going to sell it immediately, and whatever profit I make is going to be invested in cow manure.
For farming, of course.
(Apparently the receptive sending could be harassment, so maybe just a single large shipment)

Just got screwed over by #VividSeats which tricked me into buying “speculative” tickets to a show instead of the actual tickets which didn’t go on sale for fifteen more minutes.
Now I won’t know until the night before if I have a ticket for a show in a different state, and they will not refund it unless I don’t get a ticket on that date.
Which is great because it’s not like I would have to put down $500-600 in hotels, travel, pet boarding, and other expenses.
Fuck ticket sellers.

We are getting into some of the facts of what is alleged to have happened.

Alito asking why a President wouldn't self-pardon themselves again.
The Supreme Court not addressing an issue doesn't mean it's up for debate, it means the issue might have not come up because its fucking ridiculous and no one would ever think to make the argument.
As my step-mom is oft to say: Get the gun and shoot me.

Now a justice asking about whether interning Japanese-Americans during WWII would be criminally prosecutable.
Uh, I have Zero problem with that, actually. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I know they think that is problematic, but I think that is a good example of something horrific we could have avoided by imposing criminal liability.

I think it is #ALITO (I think now that voice I hear is Alito, which makes sense with how insane it all is) now that is essentially saying we cannot trust grand juries to do their job correctly.
IF THAT IS THE CASE: WHAT ABOUT NORMAL PEOPLE SUBJECT TO THEM?
There is justice for the wealthy and powerful and fuck-all for everyone else.

On a tangential note, I don't care how much an attorney believes in zealous advocacy for their defendants, any attorney that stands before the United States Supreme Court and argues in defense of tyranny by unelected ruler should be ostracized from the legal community and society in general.
The legal community needs to do more norm enforcement.

Parsing voices: Alito (maybe it was Gorsuch) and Kavanaugh were definitely interested in the "clear statement rule" which would pretty much provide blanket immunity to all criminal laws except 1-3 laws.
Barrett seemed skeptical of the immunity claims.
Jackson just is constantly on a roll so that goes without saying.

I think #Alito (I think it's Alito actually, I always confuse the two) is floating that Presidents should just pardon themselves because that has never been decided by the Supreme Court.
**BECAUSE SELF PARDONS ARE LEGAL FUCKING NONSENSE**
I won't be posting live updates, but I am listening with rage.

From #Starbuck’s brief, in which they make the argument that, if successful, would drive a knife into labor law enforcement.
Starbucks. Is. Anti. Labor.
Skip the coffee and donate the $5 instead.
If you’re a “partner” there: Organize.

You might be surprised to know that one does not have the right to speak with an attorney prior to answering this question (in many jurisdictions), and insistence on speaking with one constitutes a refusal to submit which imposes the civil consequences.
