Bought Halo a new one of his favorite beds, this one with his name embroidered across the front. I get the Chewy box from the front door and he follows me into the other room with it, tail wagging the whole time as he waits for me to get it out of the box.
I put it down in my art studio, next to where I was working today, and as soon as I do, he goes right up to it, gets in, turns around a couple times, then steps out to come over and give me kisses (how he says thank you).
Then he grabs his favorite bone and gets back in. I showed him where his name was and he immediately understood that was a special spot - which was funny because it meant when I tried to snap his pic in it, he was hanging over top of his name so you couldn't see it. But I managed to get a couple with it.
Can't decide which I like best. Am so lucky to have such an amazing pup.

A young human (7?) would like to balance and walk along a very high stone wall.
Dad asks if she needs help and she thinks about it, then nods decisively.
Moments later she's performing this mighty feat, holding Dad's hand as he keeps her steady.A small human (5?) has decided that he is going to line all of his car toys up in the driveway. For some reason Dad wants to use the space to park his car but Small Human Traffic Conductor is not having it. Big Car Parking is over there on the curb. This is TINY car parking and that's final.
A VERY muddy dog (Spaniel cross swamp goblin?) is trotting down the road next to its human. Eyes bright amidst globs and goo. Heavy tail wagging. Wearing a massive doggy grin. All the mud has been explored and Muddy Dog is TRIUMPHANT!
A young human (6?) races into a cafe, clutching a very fancy looking piece of paper to his chest. Running up to the counter, he thrusts it towards the barista who looks EXTREMELY impressed, saying: "You won an award?! Good on ya matey!"
Proud Young Human beams.A woman (40s?) runs out of a cafe, excitedly roaring "BEAGLES!" before greeting some beagles on the footpath. Giving lavish pats to adoring new dog friends. Grins all around.

The employee grins and points to the organic section: "Yes sweetheart. Just over there."A big man (70s?) parks VERY close to the car next to him.
His wife gets out and says: "You won't be able to get out now."
He indignantly says: "Yes I will."
She spends the next few minutes belly laughing as he tries to extract himself from the car before he huffs an admission she was right.A high stepping dog (border collie) is trotting over a sea of fallen autumn oak leaves. Tail wagging, ears perky. Looking up at her human with a big adoring doggy grin.
Three men (80s & 90s?) all arrive at a cafe from separate directions. Greeting each other out front with big bear hugs. Huge grins. Gentle pats on the back before they take a table in the sun. They've got some catching up to do.
A man (60s?) is snoozing in the front seat of a camper van parked right next to the sea. A fishing rod poking out of the driver's window. A big sunny sky overhead. Gulls leisurely circling overhead.

Telling Mum excitedly about ALL the fun things he and Grandad are going to do tonight.
Grandad waiting down the way at a garden gate, cheerfully roaring for them to hurry up.A couple (30s?) are walking along a riverside track, talking softly as the sun sets. Passing an elderly, genteel looking miniature schnauzer between them every now and then.
Elderly Dog accepts all carrying as his due.
Nose raised to sniff all interesting smells as a crisp evening closes in.A piwakawaka* is darting from mossy fencepost to mossy fencepost ahead of a runner.
Runner has earbuds in and his game face on but piwakawaka is having none of it.

Camden. NJ had a great turnout! a lot of furries, inflatables and characters like Elvis, Uncle Sam and Ben Franklin. Great puppets and signs. Marched from city hall to the Delaware River for a dance party in Wiggins Park.

My advice to ‘tradies’ is to ditch their fuel guzzling diesel #Trucks and purchase a BEV Van instead. Sure looks less #Blokey but it keeps the business going regardless, especially if tradies install PV panels and PV Btty on their home as well. It’s a no-brainer really. Heck, if you can’t afford a BEV Van, take out a lease and benefit from tax concessions. Monster 4WD ute owners winging about cost of fuel ought to start thinking with their brains and not their dicks IMO. Happy to take flak on this. -
Just saw a guy on #TikTok who wrote a hip-hop musical about Anne Frank where all the characters are queer disabled people of color. The comments section was amazingly hostile. In all directions. #Antisemitism left and right, #liberal finger wagging, cries about the lack of respect, accusations of mockery.
