Found a version of Marlin firmware for my Neptune 2S 3D printer and installed it today. Everything went fine!
It adds various stuff, the most immediate ones for me are a much better bed levelling wizard, and the better communication with OctoPrint. Also, there is no extremely loud beep when turning on the printer, yay 😅

One of the basins in our kitchen was leaking, I went and bought a single replacement part and fixed it, and then noticed that the other basin has the exact same problem. So now I have to go buy the same 0.2€ part again 🥲

Managed to get a photo of a squirrel eating on a tree while looking at me! He left after that. Saw him only because he was making crunching noises 😅

I kinda want a laser engraver now after looking at the Elegoo Phecda Kickstarter... :blobcat3c: Haven't thought about them before... Would be a cool thing to have in addition to a 3D printer. My wife could use it as well for some projects.
I need to do some research on them when I have money for one, hehe

Currently playing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for the Game Boy Color, I'm at the second boss, so far it's been a pretty good RPG! The graphics are cute 😅

Not sure that I copied the ROM correctly to the watch. The file sizes on my phone and watch are different...

Pretty happy with it so far!
The audio is the same as the old unit, and now I don’t need to have my phone on a stand anymore as I can have both maps and music on the same screen and it looks cleaner.
Google Maps was a bit slow on the old unit, so I only used it to run music streaming and stuff, and had maps on my phone.

Swapped my car’s head unit this weekend. I was prepared so it took less than 4 hours this time!
First pic is the old one, it ran Android 8 and had physical buttons and a volume knob.
The new one just has wireless CarPlay & Android Auto (and radio) with no other OS.
Because it has no volume knob and I really like it, I got their wireless steering wheel control and stuck it on the dashboard, as it has a rotating volume wheel around the buttons 😂 -

The EZ Flash seems to behave weirdly with many folders though, either can’t open them or can’t scroll all the way down. For now the GBC collection works, but not the GB one (sorted in similar way).
Had to merge folders with few ROMs together too…

Successfully shucked a WD 8 TB external drive that I had and installed in in my home server!
Completely forgot about the 3.3V pin disable issue, and had to take it out and tape over the 3 power pins in order for Unraid to detect it, but it worked. :ablobcatrainbow: I followed this guide: https://imgur.io/a/BFdmB

Going to try relocating the PSU of my Neptune 2S 3D printer from its vertical position to below the print bed. Printed four feet that are needed to raise it yesterday, now printing the mounts which will be 2 10 hour prints. Hopefully everything goes well!
Most of my prints have been printer-related parts lately 🤔

Printed this PSU silencer for my Neptune 2S 3D printer and it reduced the sound it makes quite a bit!
I was worried about the PSU temperature rising at first, but then remembered that when my PSU fan died I didn't notice until many hours of printing later :blobcatgrimacing: So I hope it won't die because of some air restriction...

Trying out PhotoPrism on my server since yesterday, seems pretty good. Trying to replace Google Photos with something #selfhosted...
