This year the magpies are so noisy. They seem to be thriving and individually they are definitely louder than the squirrels. The squirrels tho, can be far more.. assertive. Took this snap moments ago after they'd chased all the crows and magpies away. Again 😂

Have a pic of the squirrel listening to me as I try to persuade it to share some of the seed balls with the crows

They had seemed to ignore my pleas, when they recommenced feasting, but a minute later they did indeed retreat to a tree just over the fence and sat watching the grateful crows take their turn

Poor lil' squirrel. Just a slave to their desires like the rest of us, but in their heart a goodun 😉🐿

When I learned about the entropic death of the universe it seemed fairly logical - it seems that pTerry knew about it too & one has to feel sorry for DEATH, having to hang around until the very last end credits have rolled - as it were. :-

This takes me back to when I worked in datacentre Installations & on a trip to the tape library I found one of the onsite computer engineers fixing one of the old style reel to reel tape drives with sellotape & a couple of elastic bands! :-

Right, I have stumbled across the intergalatic version of a motorway service station which had been taken over by pirates. Pirates delt with & now the ‘tidying up’ begins!
