Man, this saddle is great. On average it is a 10-20 seconds faster on 10 minutes climb segment. The WTB Volt saddle caused numbness in my legs and restricted blood flow due to its soft padding.
I can recommend WTB Silverado (old version)!
The only drawback I have found is lack of QC on 139 EUR saddle (unsymmetrical pattern)

First ride impressions: it's definitely better for my cases (uphill training rides, high-performant commuting rides). Sit-bones pressure relieve zones are great. They stabilize your in-saddle position and provide additional comfort. Also i don't mind it being 2 cm longer than average saddle length.

I decided to go with stiffer padding than the WTB Volt, so I got a WTB Silverado (the older version, with titanium rails). I'll post a detailed review later!

I was looking for a firmer replacement for the WTB Volt saddle and ordered a WTB Silverado. However, I didn't notice that it's longer (265mm vs 280mm)
I don't quite understand what advantages a longer saddle provides (I also see a modern trend towards shorter saddles). How serious of a mistake did I make? It's no longer possible to cancel the order.
I plan to use the saddle for uphill training sessions (the replacement was needed to improve power transfer).
