I’m on the Tbilisi–Batumi train, and somehow a third of the carriage is German, another third is British, and the remaining third is Russian-speaking, plus a couple of Poles. I seriously doubt there’s even a single Georgian on this train with us. :)

And apparently, they’ve massively upgraded mobile internet along the railway. If most of the journey used to be either completely offline or stuck with painfully bad internet, now there’s reasonably decent mobile internet for pretty much the entire trip.

Combined with the fact that the journey time has been cut from 5.5 hours to around 4, this is just wonderful.
