For those who find this kind of stuff interesting: I did a running lab test to determine my actual heart rate zones.
I ran with a mask on, on a threadmill. I started at 7km/h, and increased with 2km/h every three minutes.
The Garmin zones are determined by %LTHR, as I run with a HR band.
Attached are the differences between the real test, and Garmin's estimated values.
