Уже много лет моё хобби — это моделирование из бумаги (или papercraft): искусство создания 3D-моделей из вырезанных и склеенных бумажных деталей. Это хобби — надмножество оригами в том смысле, что в нём допускается вырезание и склеивание, а также использование для одной модели нескольких листов бумаги. Благодаря снижению ограничений papercraft позволяет создавать более сложные модели, которые проще собирать. Я собираю и чужие модели, и спроектированные самостоятельно. В этом посте я бы хотел поделиться накопленными знаниями о всём процессе, от проектирования до сборки.

losing my *mind* that the only tutorial videos that actually adress the issues I have faced building with EVA foam are the now ten (10) year old videos by a guy who used the original foam patterns every second cosplay youtuber uses (JFcustom on theRPF and Cullen Cosplay on youtube)

CW: 3D Modelling troubles, Blender (same thing)
Alright, so I've got a 3D-modelling issue that has been plaguing me since time immemorial:
These files that Sammy ripped for me have this very weird thing of being one object in #blender, but several clipped ones in #pepakura designer. How the heck do I merge these if Blender won't even recognize them as separate?
The first screencap is in Blender 2.79 (the plugin doesn't run on newer versions), but I also have Blender 2.92.0 installed if that helps.
