EE. UU. neutralizó a productores clave como Venezuela, Libia y Siria mediante sanciones, desplazando su crudo hacia un "mercado gris". Empresas de trading adquieren este petróleo barato y lo reintroducen a precio oficial en el mercado global; el diferencial financiero resultante fluye directamente hacia la banca de Wall Street. Al presionar a Irán en Ormuz, EE. UU. garantiza que el precio base del barril se mantenga en niveles de crisis, maximizando los márgenes de este arbitraje y obligando al mundo a demandar dólares para pagar su factura energética.
Al desconectar a Europa del gas ruso y amenazar el flujo de Qatar vía Ormuz, EE. UU. se posiciona como el proveedor de última instancia. Bajo el lema de "seguridad energética", obliga a la #UniónEuropea a firmar contratos de suministro a largo plazo que durarán décadas. Esta maniobra elimina la soberanía energética europea y encadena sus presupuestos estatales al gas estadounidense a precios de pánico, muy superiores a los costes de producción en Texas o Luisiana.
Detrás de estos movimientos operan las gestoras #BlackRock, #Vanguard y State Street, propietarias cruzadas de toda la cadena de valor. Al poseer simultáneamente las petroleras (#Exxon, #Chevron), las empresas de defensa y la banca, eliminan el riesgo de competencia: obtienen beneficios tanto si el crudo fluye como si se bloquea, siempre que el precio suba.
