  6. @yogthos The inference engine I was working on for my thesis (and never completed), Wildwood, assigned objects to classes automatically based on their features; so that

    1. one object could be in many otherwise unrelated classes; and
    2. you could define a new class, and it would be automatically populated with every object already known to the system which met its criteria.

I wrote about this idea in my first essay of the #PostScarcitySoftware project.

Not to mention the ~non-intended~consequences of a war
"Bangladesh on Monday announced all universities will be closed as part of emergency measures to conserve fuel amid a worsening energy crisis linked to the US-Israeli war on Iran, Reuters reported.(...)
The country, which imports about 95% of its energy needs, has also imposed limits on fuel sales and redirected gas supplies to power plants to avoid widespread electricity outages"

  13. @yogthos Woohoo! following the Jank install instructions for #Ubuntu seems to work fine for #Debian13trixie !

    github.com/jank-lang/jank/blob

I've installed lein-jank, but it does not seem able (yet) to start a jank repl.

Is there a how-to anywhere for porting a #leiningen project from #clojure to jank?

  18. @yogthos so long as the rich are able to make larger political donations than the poor, the rich will continue to own all those political parties which have enough funds to effectively contest elections.

This is how 'liberal democracy' is supposed to work — the political parties feircely contest with one another over issues which don't affect the #kleptocrats, but maintain careful unanimity in opposing anything which could undermine the #billionaires' power.
