This is David Ayzenberg , a Ukrainian Jew born in Kyiv in 1926 . He was one of the very few survivors of the Babyn Yar massacre, which we commemorate its 82th anniversary today.
Just listen to his testimony ; He testifies they were led by Ukrainian nationalists and not by Germans to the execution site . We are probably the last generation who still live within the living memory of the Holocaust. Let's not forget what happened there.

In 1941 as the #Germans approached #Kyiv, #Soviets booby-trapped the buildings on Kyiv's main thoroughfare Kreshatyk.
The Soviets predicted which buildings the Germans would occupy.
The Soviets blew up the buildings after the Nazi's occupied them.
#Ukrainian #Jewish community members were scapegoated, and the #holocaust of bullets began the next morning at #BabiYar.
#Ruschists continue to repeat Soviet and #Nazi strategies and war crimes in #Ukraine in 2022.
