  2. 2025 in review: Got married in May ❤️ Navigated a tough economy & tech layoffs. Dove into AI projects, championed open-source AI, open data & digital sovereignty. Faith anchored me—amazing encounter with Indigitous leaders & continued digital mission service.
Grateful for growth & God’s guidance. Hopeful for 2026—let’s use our gifts to make a difference!

  3. Just hosted my first workshop on "Sustaining & Growing Open Source Communities" at GNOME Asia Summit 2025 in Tokyo! 🎉

Participants shared key challenges: slow communication, unclear structures, aging contributors, and financial worries for the next 2-3 years.

Brainstormed solutions like regular events, more transparency, and better websites.

Super engaged audience & amazing feedback—far
beyond expectations! Hope to run it again soon.

  5. 🚨 Update: Great news! This afternoon (10 Mar), MTR gradually reinstated the Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * header, allowing cross-origin requests once again. This change will facilitate innovation and help developers create better public transport applications, enabling real-time MTR train schedule updates to work again. Let's continue to support open data!

  6. 🚨 Disappointed sudden restriction on cross-origin access to MTR real-time train service data undermines spirit of open data. This change stifles innovation & limits developer ability to create useful applications. We need better access!
