Since the merger of West Rail and Ma On Shan Line into Tuenma Line, half of the new line is east of East Rail.
It's not called West Rail any more for good reason, but my brain can't let go of the old name even for the parts that never had the old name. It messes with me and I end up calling East Rail West Rail.
