Currently in Gothenburg theres #GothiaCup basically a kids/teens international football tournament, going since the 70's its considered one of the biggest international football tournaments due to its size... And its amazing, and a pain :)
The pain because the city is filled with teens and the trams stink of hormones, dreams and Axe bodyspray.
Amazing because kids from all over the world get economic support to fly here and compete against each other.

Reading a long form interview with Lars Trägårdh the guy in charge of making a Swedish cultural cannon. A job ordered from the right wing.
And at first I am kinda charmed by his academical rebelliousness but the further I get in to it there's a Hobbesian centrism that shines through between talks of individual liberties.
And now I am even more freaked out by the whole project.

There's this song sung every night at Vulpurgis by student choirs during the fires at night called "Longing for nature" about the passing of winter and dreaming back to the woods in summer.
Had to check up a bit about the song - the writer Herman Sätherberg wrote it in the 1830's about his favourite place outside of Stockholm which is a stones throw away from the little shitty non-licensed house my family used to stay for long cheap summer holidays.

Älskar Arkeologer som får bryt på TV-serien Historien om Sverige. En populärvetenskaplig introduktion till det kända och okända under tusentals år kommer inte träffa alla områden man vill veta, det kommer innehålla spekulation och fantasin att dom ska liksom "plocka bort alla träd" för att det inte fanns 10k år sen MEN samtidigt vara på samma plats som skelettdelar hittades är snarare ett tecken att vissa arkeologer nog borde slappna av litet.

I was just informed that Milton Berle (the American no-blue-material comic) was famous for his penis size. AND that he also supported Lyndon B Johnson for the presidency of the US.
Johnson was notorious for his own penis size (and nicknamed his genitals "Jumbo").

An mastodon with Dala-horse patterns and in the form of one of the classic wooden horse figurines (its a Swedish instance and Dala-horses are very sort of Swedish arts and crafts and kinda dorky)

@Gina guessing hard (NOTE: have NO idea what I am talking about, don't own a dog or have dog experience), but is it like anxiety/phobia in humans? I mean then doing it as often as possible, showing that its safe, avoiding escape behavior or avoidance.

Is it the noise or the people he doesn't like?

(As someone with the exact same kind of phobia, but human styled I am totally #TeamJazz )

Yesterday I went out to my mother-in-law who's sick to fix her phone or rather replace her phone with my old (and newer one), she couldn't call with her old one and being in her 70's and sick this worried husband-dude (plus the woman needs a phone).
Now I have her OLD phone and intend to replace it with Lineage just to make sure she has a backup that works if she needs it.
