Man. This front suspension is just feeling super overwhelming.
Can't get the ball joints out of the d60 knuckles, needs to happen to get the histeer kit welded on.
The shift from coils to co's has me working through the removal of the coil towers and installation of the new ones from ORA. Those hit the inner fenders.
And i haven't even started on the hydro steerling.
Can someone send me a builder that works for pizza for a weekend or two?

What a race yesterday! We spent 13 hours on the couch watching an AMAZING race. That 3rd lap! Absolute mayhem. There was some complaining in the live chat, but IMHO, this race was as close to a real KoH as I've seen in some time. The past few years, I've felt like the unlimited class was too easy for these crazy rigs that the class brings. Yesterdays race definitely hard reset that. 2 qualifying finishers, and one finished after time. Everyone else, dead on course. Amazing! #koh #offroad

It's KoH week! Decided to take the week off this year so I can just chill and watch the event. The rest of the week i hope to be working on the Lie-j while i watch. Then saturday, the main race, is basically as close as the SWBCrawler household gets to a superbowl event.

What an odd story! A guy visits a dealership to test drive a #jeep #wrangler, and then effectively abducts the saleswoman during the test drive. Smashes her phone, drives to a hospital to pick up a friend, and then TAKES HER BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP.

Hey you TJ owners! Half doors are getting harder and harder to find. I came across this guy on Facebook who's started making aluminum reproductions. Check them out if you need a set!

Folks! I know this topic is sometimes sticky in out sport. but.
Today i did a little research on the environmental impact of my personal participation in the offroad world. That is, driving a pickup, and towing a jeep with it, and of course driving that jeep on the trails. What i learned was surprisingly not dire. But i think might be something that others might benefit from
Would you all be interested in a video on the subject?

It's sitting under the jeep... AND i've got the links for the front tabbed up. just need to figure out a track bar. The kit doesn't come with one. guess they assume you'll use the stock one? i can't see how that would work.
I guess that's next on my priority list.

Put some time in behind the welding hood today. Got the subframe brackets for my 3 and 4 link started, and i think i may actually be DONE welding on the superduty 60. got the truss finished up, and the lower control arm mounts welded up. Its now wrapped up in a blanket in the basement cooling. Ive got some old seals to get out of it, and then it'll be ready to build up! A big turning point in the project.
The rear isnt so simple. I did some thinking, and i really think the right move is to have it ready to place under the jeep before I weld on the truss and other brackets. But before I put any of the new internals in there, i want to have the welding done on the housing. So i'm basically at a standstill on that axle until I can get the current rear axle out from under the jeep... So. I think my next step is to actually start getting the new suspension under the jeep. which is a huge step to take, because once i start that, the jeeps basically out of commission until I finish it.

The front 60 has gotten all the attention so far. Today i started working on the rear 60. It had a little truss across the diff that i took off. Debating whether to remove those drum brake mounting brackets. I'm assuming i'll have to. I Have a builder kit for disk brakes. and an artec truss, and tmr link, shock, and spring brackets to attach.

Hey #contentcreators. If you get an email from someone that says they're from Nikon, looking to work with you on a review of their cameras. Be careful before accepting any files from them.
Long story short, I got said email, seemed odd since I am not a camera channel, looked a little fishy, but i continued with my guard up. They sent me a "media kit" which appears to contain some malware. I did not run it.

Some of you have probably noticed a new vehicle on the channel. We decided to trade in the Caddilac Escalade on a '24 Silverado 1500, and I've been holding off on making any videos about it until I had a chance to tow with it. Well, i finally have, and wanted to share my opinions! Check it out here: https://youtu.be/KxYAG0veyzU

Only at the Hammers. The front end of Cody millers Can Am was literally broken off. Frame snapped. They've managed to use a ratchet strap and god knows what else to pull the front end back into place and they're moving again! #jeep #wrangler #lj #tj #offroad #4x4 #ford #fordperformance #hammers #koh
