Great premise taken from real life: a man wears a full body, black leather bag, just his legs sticking out, as part of a college psychology class experiment. I really liked parts of this and wish it did something more with its ideas: men’s masculinity crisis, the always-on demands of social media vs. blissfully abandoning your identity, and more. But I started skimming bits when it dragged, like the elaborate fantasy life in a Swedish village the protagonist indulges during class, or the conversations he has with his parents’ dog. Glad I finished it though.
