  1. Just installed the Voyager client for #lemmy I expect to see a huge #redditmigration if popular subreddits like r/politics and r/technology are put behind paywalls.

  2. This reminds me of my glory days playing #UT2K4, and it makes me sad that Epic is just letting the franchise go fallow. I used to own physical copies of every single #Unreal game, I even enjoyed what little lore there was.

  3. @arstechnica being able to reach Mars in 45-65 days is something I would like to live long enough to see. And I love that they both revived #NERVA which I learned about in the 80s, and plan to use #MPD tech that I remember reading about in the 90s.

I am just now reading up on #waverotor technology after seeing them mentioned in the article.

  4. If the #NacelleVerse people buy The Corps: Total Soldier license from Lanard they could launch their own G.I. Joe analogs.

Or maybe they can pick up Olmec's Bronze Bombers or Lucky Bell's Power Commandos for a steal.

  5. If Great Garloo is filling the role of the #NacelleVerse Kong then they'll probably need King Zor to be their Mecha Godzilla.

  6. Power Lords gives them their Masters of the Universe analog, and Robo Force gives them their Transformers. I have no Sectaurs parallels, I just enjoyed those stupid bug toys as much as I loved Crystar and the Crystal Warriors. #nacelleverse

  7. I keep doom watching that Pumba the Caracal channel on YouTube because there's no fucking way it ends well. #caracal #NOTAPET #bigcatsofmasterdon

  8. Is octodon.social on a blocklist? I've been trying to look up Jason Lefkowitz and just keep getting a 404 error message if I try to favor any of his posts. #octodon

  9. Best Frying Pans If You Want to Avoid #PFAS Chemicals - Consumer Reports

"CR highlights cookware without the potentially harmful compounds found on many #nonstick pans"

    consumerreports.org/home-garde

  10. So are nonstick pans safe or what? - The Atlantic

"As long as #PFAS keep proliferating in the environment, we might never fully know exactly what #nonstick pans are doing to us. The best we can do for now is decide what level of risk we’re willing to accept in exchange for a slippery pan, based on the information available."

    theatlantic.com/health/archive

  11. Why am I still seeing #nonstick pans in modern YouTube cooking videos? You'd think that people who make a living from putting food into their mouths would make sure their most important tools weren't coated with toxic forever chemicals. If the pan isn't cast iron, carbon steel, graniteware, or coated in ceramic then it's coated in #PFAS

An anti-capitalist superhero show, one of the bits of media that I have seen this year.
