Sako Bakari è entrato in un bar chiedendo aiuto, sanguinante. Nessuno gli ha teso la mano.
Poi è morto sull'asfalto di Taranto mentre la città si preparava a festeggiare il suo patrono.
Non è un caso isolato. Non è disagio giovanile. È il risultato prevedibile di un Paese che da anni organizza gerarchie tra vite degne e vite sacrificabili: con le leggi, con i comizi, con il silenzio di chi governa.
La procuratrice che indaga l'ha detto chiaramente: "non ci sono decreti sicurezza che tengano. Dobbiamo cambiare la cultura." Noi aggiungiamo: chi quella cultura razzista la produce, la finanzia e la cavalca per raccogliere voti ha le mani sporche quanto chi ha impugnato quel coltello.
Bakari era la regola, non l'eccezione.
Migliaia di persone attraversano ogni giorno questo Paese per lavorare la nostra terra, raccogliere i nostri prodotti, reggere la nostra economia, e vengono trattate come bersagli, se non come scarti.Giustizia per Sako Bakari. E per tutte quelle persone che non arrivano alle prime pagine dei quotidiani.

Gli insulti ai meridionali erano una vera e propria firma politica di Matteo Salvini: un must del suo repertorio, un modo per raccogliere consensi al Nord cavalcando stereotipi e divisioni.
Oggi quell’uomo è il Ministro delle Infrastrutture e dei Trasporti di un Paese che comprende anche quel Sud che ha usato come bersaglio per anni.
Una storia che molti, anche al Sud, hanno dimenticato.

@VoltEuropa A really great article by #Volt #MEP Reinier van #Lanschot, very much recommended. I particularly like the footnote "Volt considers any country in which a majority of the population has democratically expressed an aspiration for EU membership to be a European state" 🙂 (no, I am not joking). This reminds one immediately of #Canada, of course. Anyway, I cannot understand the claim that membership of Canada in #EU was impossible. Article 49 says nothing about non- european countries.

Das Verwaltungsgericht in Koblenz hat entschieden: Die Binnengrenzkontrollen an der deutsch🇩🇪-luxemburgischen🇱🇺 Grenze waren unionsrechtswidrig.
Volt steht für ein Europa 🇪🇺, in dem Menschen leben, reisen und lieben können. Ohne Kontrolle an Grenzen, die eigentlich keine sein sollten. Schengen gilt!
