Been to many holiday parades in other cities, so I'm not sure if this is a #Halifax tradition or this is what people can expect, post- "Freedom Convoy". Now I know how the people of Ottawa felt all those weeks.Someone needs to tell the #Saltwire organizers: a cacaphony of sirens and horns doesn't = holiday joy.
(Also sad to see that the guy they had "guarding" the unmarked "reserved" bleachers was a bit awkward/rude. Saw him disappoint many families.)

Went to the #Halifax #Saltwire Santa Parade on Saturday, and was really disappointed that parade organizers & participants thought it was OK to blare car/truck horns and sirens *constantly*. People go to hear holiday music, laughter, and hellos, not to hear a cacaphony of sirens and horns.It drowned out so much of the good noise that we saw many families with young children leave, rather than wait for Santa's arrival. :(
