I am pleased to announce that the OpenStreetmap Foundation has awarded the State of the Map 2024 Europe organization to the OpenStreetMap Poland Association. This will be a special event, because it takes place in the year when we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the project. I can also reveal that next year's European conference will be held in Lodz, Poland.

Inspired by this year's wonderfully prepared State of the Map Europe organized by our colleagues from Belgium. The Board of the OpenStreetMap Poland Association has unanimously decided to start the process of obtaining permission from the OpenStreetMap Foundation to organize State of the Map Europe next year.
Keep your fingers crossed! This edition will be really special, because in 2024 we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the project.
