A Warning We Cannot Ignore
UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese has warned Italians about the implications of the growing rapprochement between Greece and Israel, arguing that standing with Palestine against what she describes as Israel’s apartheid system is not an act of charity, but a form of self-defense before the danger reaches us all.
Her words deserve attention far beyond Italy.
When injustice is allowed to become normal, silence does not keep us safe. It only gives injustice more room to grow.
